Please dont see just a boy caught up indreams and fantasies
Please see me reaching out for someone I cant see
Take my hand lets see where we wake up tomorrow
Best laid plans sometimes are just a one night stand
Id be damned Cupids demanding back his arrow
So lets get drunk on our tears and
God, tell us the reason youth is wasted on the young
Its hunting season and the lambs are on the run
Searching for meaning
But are we all lost stars, trying to light up the dark?
Who are we? Just a speck of dust within thegalaxy?
Woe is me. if were not careful turns into reality
Dont you dare let our best memories bring you sorrow
Yesterday I saw a lion kiss a deer
Turn the page maybe well find a brand new ending
Where were dancing in our tears and
God, tell us the reason youth is wasted on the young
Its hunting season and the lambs are on the run
Searching for meaning
But are we all lost stars, trying to light up the dark?
I thought I saw you out there crying
I thought I heard you call my name
I thought I heard you out there crying
Just the same
God, give us the reason youth is wasted on the young
Its hunting season and this lamb is on the run
Searching for meaning
I thought I saw you out there crying
I thought I heard you call my name
I thought I heard you out there crying
But are we all lost stars, trying to light up the dark?
But are we all lost stars, trying to light up the dark?
“Why are we given the most important time of our lives when we know nothing at all?”
“Why does living feel so difficult?”
These are the thoughts that stayed most deeply
in the editor’s heart after listening to this song.
Lost Star repeatedly raises questions about dreams and fantasies,
the loss of love, the waste of youth, and our own existence.
When we are young, we do not know.
We do not know what failure is,
who we truly are, or what we should protect.
And so, we recklessly waste the time that was given to us.
There are things in life that can only be understood after we have passed through them:
the dreams we never fulfilled, the choices we made without explanation,
the careless actions we took.
At the time, everything felt sincere, and we believed it was everything.
But as we live, we begin to see sides
we had never noticed before, and regret quietly follows.
Why wasn’t I more careful?
Why didn’t I say those words back then?
Why didn’t I take better care of myself?
From the editor’s perspective, life is always an imperfect draft.
It is filled with misaligned scenes and unsteady choices.
Some moments are never fully understood, and others gain meaning only
after a long time has passed.
We always realize things too late.
We often think that if we could go back, we would live differently.
More wisely, more firmly, with fewer regrets.
But what truly matters is that, back then,
we could only do as much as we were capable of.
We were inexperienced, immature, and full of uncertainty.
As human beings, perfection does not exist for us.
And just as it was in the past and remains so now,
perhaps we will wander and feel lost our entire lives.
Along the way, we will feel anxious,
face moments without certainty,
and constantly question our own existence.
But what if, now, we tried to look at that confusion through different eyes?
Lost Stars leaves behind the image of someone who is lost.
Someone who walks forward unfinished,
wavering, without certainty,
yet still continues to write their own story.
Perhaps what truly matters is accepting being lost
and not letting go of ourselves.
And so, even today,
we continue to live our most important time,
just as we are—incomplete, fragile, and human.
